  • Quotations are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

3. Job Acceptance & Turnaround
  • Jobs are accepted on a case-by-case basis and subject to material inspection if applicable.

  • Estimated completion times are provided in good faith but are not contractually binding.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Supplying accurate information, specifications, and/or technical drawings

  • Ensuring that materials or parts provided are suitable for laser welding

  • Informing us of any contamination, coatings, or treatments present on parts

We will not be liable for faults caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.

We take pride in the quality of our work and will correct any demonstrable fault in workmanship free of charge if reported within 7 days of job completion.

This guarantee does not cover:

  • Pre-existing material defects

  • Cosmetic appearance where not specified as a deliverable

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g. loss of earnings, production downtime, or resale value)

  • We are not liable for damage to parts caused by internal flaws, poor prior repairs, or unsuitability for laser welding

All items are handled with care, but you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with welding certain materials or components.

7. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue

  • Work remains the property of Laser Tech Solutions until full payment is received

  • You may cancel a job at any time before work has started, free of charge

  • If cancellation occurs after work has begun, you may be charged for time and materials incurred to date

  • Requests to amend an ongoing job will be assessed case by case and may affect pricing or timescales

Due to the bespoke nature of laser welding services:

  • Returns or refunds are not typically offered

  • If there is a clear failure to meet the agreed specification, we will aim to rectify it promptly

  • All concerns must be raised within 7 days of receiving completed work

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to equipment failure, supply chain issues, illness, or extreme weather.
